HE-AAC audio very low

Although I'm using Vix this is not a VIX specific problem as Pli is the same. (perhaps Vix is based on Pli ? )

I have a PCTV 290e USB DVB-T2 tuner for the UK FreeView channels, all works splendidly but the HE-AAC audio from the HD channels is very low.

I have to increase the TV volume to nearly double that required for mpeg or AC3 audio.

Any solution ?

Is downmix activated? If so: is the volume of the box set to maximum?
