This is my set-up:

PC (192.168.1.101) (wireless connection to)>
Router 1 (192.168.1.1) (wireless connection to)>
Wireless Bridge (Router 2) 192.168.1.110 (internal LAN 192.168.10.1) (wired connections to)>>
Receiver 1 (192.168.10.107)
Receiver 2 (192.168.10.108)

My question is, how do I connect from my PC using FTP to boxes 1 and 2 via Router 1? I know it's something to do with port-forwarding on port 21 but all my attempts so far have been fruitless.

Hi,
this has nothing to do with portforwarding. Your bridge must act as a router so that your x.x.1.x net can reach x.x.10.x. Why different nets? Perhaps it is already enough if you use the netmask 255.255.0.0 everywhere.

I think your looking to hard for an easy answer if you're trying to attempt what I think you're trying to achieve.... anyways

Download program called Filezilla

Up the top you have HOST, USERNAME, PASSWORD, PORT

In host box type the ip of 1 of your boxes you wish to connect to
In username type root
In password leave blank (unless you have created a password for your boxes then enter that)
In Port type 21

Viola you have access to one of your boxes to FTP to and from, All you need to do is change the ip address to the other box and connect.

Once this is setup filezila saves the info so you dont need to type it in everytime.

Hope this is what you were looking for

I use an Android app for ftp called andFTP, you can do exactly the same as filezilla by using the setup s1mon gave above

your are all right BUT only if they all are in the same network. At the moment he uses 192.168.1.x and 192.168.10.x.

First of all it is not advisable to have a second router in your network. This way you have what we called NAT after NAT. It slows down your network and your can have problems reaching the internet.
However, I have seen it more. Advise: redesign.
You need to make forward rules in your bridge/router 192.168.1.110
The problem is you can make just 1 forward rule for a port to the same port in the subnet.
first rule: forward port 21 to 192.168.10.107 port 21. Normal FTP to your receiver 1.
second rule: forward port 22 to 192.168.10.108 port 22. Secure FTP to your receiver 2. (I don't know if the receiver is able to use SFTP.)

Use e.g. filezilla to connect ftp (port 21) to 192.168.1.110 for your receiver 1 and SFTP (port22) to 192.168.1.110 for your receiver 2.
If SFTP does not work, we can use a trick.
Change the second forward rule to: forward port 1000 to 192.168.10.108 port 21.
Now use filezilla to connect ftp to 192.168.1.110, but change port 21 into port 1000.

I have an Asus router 192.168.1.*** with a tp link connected 192.168.0.***

I can use flashfxp to ftp to a box on either Asus or tp link network from a PC connected to the tp link, so even though the PC is on 192.168.0.** it will still connect to a box on the 192.168.1.*** network.

Thanks, this looks more like the answer I was looking for and what I tried and failed at. I will try again!
Also, i am thinking of replacing the 2nd router/bridge with 2 x wireless "dongles". Presumably, then, it's more a case of setting up like s1m0nw said above (and which is what I was doing originally when connecting direct thru' router 2).
