Hi I just put a new lnb on my motor dish and I had to move the arm to install and since then my signal gone shite on some channels...say itv its like 7snr and 62 agc (65 is max ican get think it a bug in my box) but on sky one I get 91 snr an 64 agc....what transponder shall I try get max on?..as for my other satellite's they are alot lower.just wondering where I goin wrong an what transponder to get gd on 28e

You have obviously misaligned your dish when you put on the LNB. I would not worry which transponder to test, just pick any transponder and max out the signal from your dish.

First obvious thing to check is that the LNB is in line with the LNB arm, with the LNB cables at the bottom. After that you have to check your elevation and your direction. You might have slightly turned the dish on motor's drive shaft.

ye lnb is set to 0 as its a motor dish i will just have to keep trying till i get it spot on on the other satellites 28 is gd but 13 and 16 are only about 50-60 snr



is anyone in the machester /oldham area do installs cheap to re-align mine :)
