Hi,

This is my first E2 receiver and I have some doubts on the motor configuration, with USALS I can catch all sats between 34.5ºW and 39ºE, my problem is the fine-tuning using the Positioner Setup.

My tuner configuration:
Tuner settings, Motor diseqc 1.2:
Advanced LNB 1, all sats from motorized dish
Priority - auto
LOF - universal LNB
Voltage mode - polarisation
Increased voltage - no
Tone-mode - band
Diseqc mode - 1.2
Tone-burst - none
Commited Diseqc command - none
Fast diseqc - no
Sequence repeat - no
Command order - committed, uncommitted, toneburst
Uncommitted diseqc command - input 1 (LNB from motorized dish connected to port one in one diseqc switch 1.1)
Diseqc repeats none
Longitude - 009.160 west
Latitude - 038.63 north
Use USALS for this sat - yes
Tuning step size - 0.360
Memory positions - 0.49
Horizontal TS - 2..3
Vertical TS - 1.7

1 - With USALS active can I use the Positioner Setup and store new positions?

2 - After saving the new position of one sat what happens to the other sats configured as USALS?... nothing or new positions will be calculated according to the satellite stored before?

3 - Where the new positions are stored?... in the receiver or in the motor?... if I flash the receiver will lose the stored positions?

I have some settings in the Positioner Setup:
. Tune and Focus -> Auto Focus - Calibrate - Calculate
. Goto -> Goto X - Goto 0

... I do not know what they do, can someone give me a short explanation?

1. USALS means the STB calculates the positions and sends motor accordingly. You cannot store positions.
2. You can either store positions or use USALS. You cannot use both together.
