Hi,

Does anyone know why the Anysee E30C is not recognized as a (USB) tuner?
Drivers are part of the kernel.

root@vuduo2:~# opkg list 'kernel-module-dvb-usb-any*'
kernel-module-dvb-usb-anysee - 3.3.8-r0.10 - linux-vuplus version 3.3.8-r0.10
dvb-usb-anysee kernel module; Driver Anysee E30 DVB-C & DVB-T USB2.0

It's the 1c73:861f

I figured out that the issue was
dvb-usb: no frontend was attached by 'Anysee DVB USB2.0'.
Searched a lot on the net, but found no answer.
I was thinking it has something to do with USB port, after reading somewhere a remark about downgrading to 1.1 USB. I also had 1 time
dvb-usb: This USB2.0 device cannot be run on a USB1.1 port. (it lacks a hardware PID filter)
dvb-usb: Anysee DVB USB2.0 error while loading driver (-19).
After using a USB hub with separate 5V adaptor, suddenly the Anysee was connected correctly.

dvb-usb: found a 'Anysee DVB USB2.0' in warm state.
dvb-usb: will pass the complete MPEG2 transport stream to the software demuxer.

DVB: registering new adapter (Anysee DVB USB2.0)
anysee: firmware version:1.2 hardware id:15
DVB: registering adapter 1 frontend 0 (Philips TDA10023 DVB-C)...
DVB: registering adapter 1 frontend 1 (Zarlink ZL10353 DVB-T)...
dvb-usb: Anysee DVB USB2.0 successfully initialized and connected.

After a reboot it was goes gone again.:(

Getting it work, this is how to handle:
disconnect the USB hub.
Reboot the Duo.
connect the USB hub with the Anysee connected to it.
restart enigma2.

With any luck I will get the extra tuner (DVB-C is default for the Anysee).
Also configurable in the menu.

Next step I will try to give the Anysee his own 5V supply.
Will be continued.

make sure you are using the bottom port at back, i have had issues with DVB tuners on any other port.

In this case all 3 USB ports act the same.:(

Separate 5V supply does not help either.

It should be working, it can be working, but is not very user friendly this way.
USB bus driver issue?
Hopefully VUplus is reading this board.

thx andyblac.

Luckily it is working very well on my brand new ET6500, after installing the driver as Andyblac suggested.
