Im not 100% sure when this started, but ever since i have has my ET5000 i have used a NAS drive as the HD. Time shift is not permanent and still works but i now get an error See attached image.

i am guessing you are using SAMBA share, you will need to use NFS as SAMBA does not support symlinks, although i have tested it. i will do some tests.

hi

samba and NFS are not running share type is CIFS changing this to NFS and the share will not mount.

drive filesystem is Disk Capacity .... (JBOD) ext4

make sure you setup NFS on your NAS.

thanks looks like it was an issue with my NAS, NFS was deleted on the last update.
