Try backing up your settings, re-flash latest build 789 here http://www.openvix.co.uk/index.php?dir=Vu%2BDuo/
You'll then find the latest 0.4.5 version in the plugins feeds.
If you still get crashes please upload your crashlogs.
thanks m8 ill have a look and try tomorrow.

Download the ipk file of the softcam you want from >>>HERE<<< (http://openvix.co.uk/index.php?dir=ViX-Softcams/)
Then FTP it to the tmp folder of your box..
The on remote : Blue Button > Vix > Install local extention and follow on-screen instructions..

and its a tar file
whereas that proper image is over 40mb .
question is do i flash the original image to the vu
then put the tar file as is,into temp folder like an ipk file
and install local ext?

I just make an Image in Image manager, and FTP it to my Laptop { /media/hdd/imagebackups/}. If I need it I just transfer it to USB.

That sounds like a settings backup not a image backup, image backups created with the builds 760 on wards are compressed .zip archives.

Cheers m8 ill look after work
I thought it was only backup manager there
Which I used and didn't do full backup.
Backup manager backs up your settings and plugins etc. Image manager does everything.

Hi,
the build in image manager:-) Look for the VIX plugin and there you will find it.
p.s. as quite often I was far to late:-) I missed 2nd page.
