can not update

hi i am on 775 at moment ,this was flashed using usb.i got the green light flashing telling me there are updates,i try but it just hangs on the ;updating your vu solo 2; screen forever,i have to switch off mains,then i tried 778 on my usb but it the solo just reboots and opens to normal any help please

I would try using the Image manager to reflash the receiver directly ( make a settings backup first with the backup manager ).
