In relation to using USB connected DVB-T/T2 tuners to the Duo2 are there any gotchas in relation to said connectivity.

For example I assume using more than 2 would require a USB hub.

Also has anyone installed them remotely from the receiver, i.e. via a long USB connection or extender.

BTW both of my internal slots have the dual S2 tuners in them.

Thanks.

IIRC it can only handle 8 tuners in total so that will be your constraint.

Connected 1 PCTV 290e to my Duo2 now have 5 tuners.
All works 100%.
Maybe a powered hub would be required.
If you test 4-5 recordings from the usb tuners you have it might give you an indication if the USB bus had enough bandwidth for loads of recordings...

I now have a PCTV 290e but it's not being recognised. Do I need to install a driver (I had a look at the plugin list and couldn't spot one that's specific to this tuner).
