Not getting HD channels except BBC

So I am completely new to this whole thing. I setup my box today. I was getting all the free SD channels, but in terms of HD, only BBC One HD and BBC Two HD. The rest were just black.

I put in my Sky card (I am paying for a HD subscription), followed the process and am now getting all the channels I pay for (Sky Sports etc) but again, only in SD none of the HD.

Any ideas?

I'm also getting ITV 1, Channel 4 and Channel 5 in HD.

I'm not getting ITV 2,3,4, E4, Dave etc.

Very likely your card has undergone the new pairing method as the HD channels are first to go.


P.S ITV 2, 3, 4 E4 etc are FTV not FTA.

The SD versions of those channels were working before I inserted the card. So are they FTA, while the HD channels are FTV?

Yes the SD versions are all FTA but the HD ones are FTV.
