Hi to all,

I read a lot of posts on the forum to understand the most on the vu+ duo and I don't understand which differences are between the official image and the vix, vit... images.

Is it only in the panel missing in the official image?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Best regards

Different images offer different things. The original image offers the basics. It starts up, that's it. The different team images offer different additions to the main image. e.g. the VIX image comes with autotimer integrated in to the image, the epg accessible with a single press of the epg key (rather than epg key showing program info), background tasks that aren't shown to most users, the softcam handling, the "panels", etc etc...

So, to choose which image you want to use, the advice is to try them all ;)

Thanks for the reply.

All images are reliant on the same codec for a/v. They're using the ones supplied from vu. So each image will be the same in that respect. It's just which version of their drivers the image is using (e.g. vti and vix latest version are both using the latest vu duo drivers, older versions of the vti and vix images use older drivers. the dream-elite images are using very old versions of the drivers)
