Vu duo 2:can it play m2ts file?

Yesterday I uploded 28 gb film (bluray m2ts file)on to hdd.Film takes ages to load and when it loads - not playing .I have tried with media player-same result.
Just want to see if duo2 copes with proper 1080p file.Could someone give a hint to right direction?
Here is another thing:
Can someone advice me decent bluray ripper and mkv converter?

Probably the wrong codec.

try renaming to .ts, if that fails and you are familiar with remuxing
remux the video and audio into an mkv container and your good to go.

eac3to can do this and maybe makemkv

Hi,
check if used codec is VC1 and if so no VU+ is able to play ist. Only h264 can be played and then a BR rip is no problem. I already played m2ts with around 40GB.

MakeMKV did :thumbsup:job very well.I kept original film size and DTS sound seems more than O.K.
