View Full Version : CCcam 2.1.4 Running But Not Showing As Running

Not sure if anyone has this problem but in the softcam menu CCcam 2.1.4 is running but showing as not running , unable to use the restart cam button having to use the start.

Not sure if this is a bug not to big of a problem i guess.

Problems with your CCcam.cfg perhaps? (CCcam wont initiate properly without a CCcam.cfg in \etc)

No its running fine , i use a dm500s as my sub server and all the units in the house connect to that , i'm connecting fine its all working just not showing as running in the soft cam menu . config file is fine as it has one line it to connect to the 500 can't be bad configuration

Did u stop and restart the cam.
Go to setup,softcam/ci,softcam setup
Hit ok to stop the ccam if is running and ok again to restart.
Hopefully this will solve the problem.

Forgot to say make sure the config file is in the etc folder

This could be a bug in the softcam manager. Have you run software updates via blue button > Software management > Software update?

ViX1.2 will have a recoded softcam manager.

Yeah first thing i do is software update before i install or setup anything . I might reflash and try CCcam213

Yeah first thing i do is software update before i install or setup anything . I might reflash and try CCcam213After a SW-update, a normal restart doesnt always do the trick. Do a cold-boot, after letting the VU cool for a minute or two.
