42 east problem

i have a bizarre problem...

im using vix 1.1......

alll working really well...

but it wont go to 42 east...i get 57e to 30 w as a range...

i did a scan it has all the channels in...when i press on them it goes to green screen....it doesnt happen with any other sat...

i do use satellire.xml which i update about once a week... i dont know if this is relevant..

i deleted the sat....then re scanned it and rhe same thing keeps happening....

any ideas

one of the hardest to scan that one i alwys had probs it needs a large dish to catch it properly

it scans ok....

but then will not open any channel

as soon as i try to click on aq channel it delays a sec or two then green screen..

only sat that does this

I am having the exact same problem and it appears that there is no solution to this at present. Just came accross your post, but have copied my error log into another thread that i opened regarding the same problem.

Lets hope somebody has an answer to this problem soon!

satsatsat upload your crash log so andy can look into it

Here is a workaround:

Ftp to your box, go to /etc/tuxbox and edit your satellites.xml file. Search for "Türksat" and change it to "Turksat". Restart the box.
Looks like a function does not like the exotic character in the satellite's name...
