There are no media player plugins to add more functionality as it's handled by hardware not software. You must have your files encoded property for them to play on the receiver.

No need for any plugins, use the inbuilt media player.
Just press the file list button beside the menu button.

i come from OpenSpa imagine ...and and the mapping of the buttons on the remote control was different :rolleyes:
and I could not find the right way to start the media player.
