My best advise it to look for a Harmony. They come cheap and expensive, just as you like.

The 600 would do very nice if you want to go cheap (but don't go for one under the 600, nor for the One).

I would go for the 300, its doubled in price on ebay but works great on VU, and ET as set one up for my friend the other day on a ET9000. very easy to set up and use.

Max is 4 devices.

I use a harmony 600 and a harmony 650, both are great remotes and won't break the bank either.

The 600 and all above are 'activity based' R/C's.
So you don't talk to a device anymore, but to a function in an activity (an activity is e.g. watching TV with devices as TV, STB and amp).

The 300 is a device-based R/C, which brings you back in rhe old days.
