Hi i just got a new router the asus rt 65u and since that my box wont boot unless i unplug the internet it just freezes ,so i guess it just needs ports forwarding but what ports needs unblocking?
If your using your own local card, should not need to forward any ports unless you have external transcoding needs?

No its just when i boot the box up it just stays on the blue vix screeen saying please wait,
That is nothing to do with PF.
try setting a static address on your router for your box and dynamic on the stb.
