Resolution change when changing HD channels to normal

I did a update other day and I noticed when I'm watching HD channels and I switch to sd channels the channel would come on then go blank then it would come back on. I somehow sorted it out but I did a update last night and it's back again. It's annoying when u switch from HD to sd channels it goes off den comes back on. And when I press menu the layout is in such poor resolution when I'm
On a sd channel plz help anyone.

if you were on a build earlier than 760 then you should have performed a full reflash and not a update as was posted in the forum wide announcement, a online update from any build earlier than 760 will cause you several problems within the image.

So what do you suggest right now I am on the 767 build do I download the 767 on to USB and flash or go back to a much earlier build before 760? And when I flash do I have to remove me hdd?

Download the latest build, flash via USB, then restore your settings and plug ins. No need to remove your hard drive.

go setup >> systems >> a/v settings

Vid .... HDMI
Auto Res ... disable
Auto Res Label ... Not Shown
Mode ...1080i
Refresh Rate .... Multi
Display 4.3 ... just scale
Display 16.9... just scale

Im on build 767 depending on what build your on you may not see auto res label as this was added to stop a annoying popup info message telling you the picture format however if you like that sort of thing then make your choice on selection.
Anyway this will put stop to the screen blanking inbetween hd and sd when zapping

No I dnt have that option I'm using the 767 I did on the build before and I sorted it but I can't now I'm gona have to flash it but how do I make a back up of my setting and plugins sum1 on said I could but dnt no how to

to save settings and plugs press blue button scroll to VIX and select backup manager you may wish to press menu first to make sure your happy with location where your backups will be stored also in the same location is another backup for image if needed

yes, you only had to flash to a image after 760, after this build you can use the online update feature as normal.

My ice films plugin is not there and it not I can't find in the plugins section any help

Ice films has not been in the plugin feeds for many many months for legal reasons.
