you dont need that as you just use your compass which is the free app on the iphone
which has the long and lat of where you are on the bottom of the compass:D

yes true but DP App also give longs and lats accorting to satellite requirements and also you can use the camera in real time to look if your line of site is clear as well as the compass angle you need.

to be fair to both of you i have yet to see any installer rely on iphone apps to install any system. as far as i am concerned there nothing but a gimmick.

yeah your right there about the gimmic asspect. but i have to say it does help. no so much as ppl will rely on it but it does help in a way and it has had alot of positive feedback from its users on itunes

one main aspect it is the dishpointer longs and lats now that is usfull as we all use it the app just brings that on to the phone so you can use it while on site installing it

i only use it for usals as i always forget the long and lat , as for install never use fitted too many !
