I have all my picons on a usb stick which is mounted as /media/hdd

with a folder on that called picon with them all inside

Thing is there not working

How do i enable them??

They are all in this format

1_0_1_1A30_7DD_2_11A0000_0_0_0.png

Have you rebooted the box.?

Do none of them work?

Make sure that the USB has been formatted as ext3/ext4. Any other format will not work when using the USB for picons.

No thats not correct mate, Picons will work from FAT formatted devices just fine, mine are on such a USB stick.

But only for not optimised picon packs.

A good picon set comprises a small number of picons, and a huge number of symlinks. Symlinks are not supported on FAT.
That's the reason a FAT-device doesn't show as location when installing picons.
For a good example install an Ocram set form the feeds and have a look inside.

Thanks for clearing that up. Always wondered why FAT wasn't supported with those packs.
