When I change channels I get a oblong box display in the top right hand corner.
Only started when I upgraded the image to VIX Ver 764
Inside the box it is displaying the Video Content and Video Mode.
Any ideas how to stop this displaying every time I change channels ie Turn it Off
I have been through the menu's several times but cannot find an option for this.
Many thanks.

I was just about to post the exact same issue. Its only just started and i have made no changes apart from the normal software updates.
When i change channels the channel comes on, flashes black for about 2 or 3 seconds and then come up from the box in the top right showing the video content and video mode. Its really annoying. Tried everything to turn it off.
Anyone got any ideas?

Set Auto Resolution to NO in the Menu>System>AV Settings screen

If you update to build 766 there are some more options available in A/V-settings.

Hi,
Auto res was already set on No
I have now upgraded to 766 and the issue is still there.
Auto res is now set to Disabled as the options have changed.

Have you guys reflashed via usb and then restored your settings? This is required from image builds above 760.

Flashed via USB and have not restored its a new full install.
If I cannot find a fix Im going back to earlier version

And you have A/V Settings -> Automatic resolution label set to Not shown?

What version did you flash? I flashed 762 which was the latest available at the time and it has only been since doing an online update to 766 that the new options appeared and it started working properly. Good work, Andy, by the way.

Set Automatic ResolutionLabel to not shown, so you wont get message in rightcorner for resolution / Hz changes
Available form build 766..

29772

Did you do an image flash rather than an online update to go to build 760+?

It has been announced loudly on our forum: any image <760 can't be updated to 760 or above. A flash is required (you can use restore).
Once on or above 760 updates can be carried out again.

I have now gone through all my back ups of previous images and it now is happening on them all. This only started this week so what has changed?

Looks like I've sorted it. Flashed new image 766 and then restored from my latest back up.
This has fixed the annoying issue.
It is now asking for updates again but I don't want to jinx it!!

i won t jinx..
and if you simply backup/restore image backup 766 in imagemanager

Can someone please confirm if:

I have no backups
A new Install of Ver. 766
No restore from previous versions
No Problems

If you do not have a backup restore and do an update you will have to set everything up manually.

You can do a settings restore from previous builds but not plugin restore for the very latest build on a virgin flash.
