Unable to update via USB

Tried updating my Uno today via USB.

1. Formatted USB as FAT32
2. Placed vuplus folder at root of USB
3. Turned off Uno via power switch at back
4. Inserted USB and turned on

At this point I am used to seeing the prompt appear to press - but nothing happened, is there something I have done wrong?

I have found both my boxes are quite picky with USB sticks. Try another?

depending on the image and build version you have on the box now you could just use the image manager to flash the receiver directly with no need for a USB stick

Try an 'old' USB stick. < 2Gb. (512 Mb)

i had this problem just this week and found that my box was not reading USB's less than 1gb??? i know it sounds daft but thats the only change I made and it flash perfectly.... I am assuming you have placed the VUplus file in the root of the drive and the relevant 4 files are present within the folders.

I've flashed many receivers. Imo best sticks to use are a genuine Kingston USB stick max 8GB in size and use rear USB port.
