cacheflush question

I was able to find and install cacheflush. set it at 15mins. Anyway, when i click on "info" then the screen opens to show "cacheflush info 1.17"
I get the option to clear via the blue button. What i want to know , would i be wise to hit "clear now" especially as i plan to reset the duo to build 742?

I have no issue using blue button to Clear Now - this just manually causes the flush. In fact, on several occasions I actually needed to Clear Now rather than wait for the timed flush - due to stuttering picture playback.
