Picture size

Hi

Just wondering if there is a picture setting change somewhere that when watching some older programmes i.e. on Gold the picture goes to narrow format that they can be automatically go back to normal?

Help or advice anyone?

be aware however that this will not work on all older programmes such as the Simpsons on sky 1 and where it does it will look artificially stretched ( which it is ).
