Im trying to install vix image 3.0 from 2.0 on my vu duo. iv installed the file to usb in flashed to duo, but all im getting is a red light and starting and nothing else. How long should it take to boot.

it should take no more than a few minutes, which exact build are you trying to load and have you updated the bootloader recently or at all ?.

no not updated the bootloader at all, was going for the latest version. Iv not changed image for about 2 years as no problems lol

Then you really need to update the bootloader, you can get it from www.openvix.co.uk.

It's the exact same process of updating the bootloader as flashing a image by USB, flashing a bootloader takes literally 2 seconds.

do I do bootload then image ?

flash the Bootloader first, then flash the new image.

problem solved cheers m8t:) now I think I need to get rid of that snow boot image lol
