Has anyone looked into adding an 11ac wireless 'dongle' to their Quad? I'm thinking of going down that route. Anyone got any experience? What does Vix have built-in for 11ac, if anything?

Just found out that their are no linux drivers for the Netgear A6200 USB adapter (BCM43256 chipset) that I've bought but I can see that there are LINUX drivers for Edimax EW-7822UAC (Realtek RTL8812AU).

Well it would be worth getting then you have all the bases coverd.I have seen TPlink are doing a dual band one for £17 alot cheaper than some.
