Ext3 or Ext4

I have a 500GB hard drive and would like to know if I should convert this to Ext 4 file system or Ext 3 is fine?

Just use the image to initialize the HDD and it will automatically format it to EXT4.

I use ext4 and it's very smooth. I don't know about ext3.

If you used the image then it is EXT4 so no need to check.
