random menu pop ups

I've had menus popping up on my box for no reason for a long time now but tonight its happening every 10-15 seconds. Anyone have any idea why this is?

Have you opened any ports to an outside network?
If not, HDMI CEC enabled or not?
Someone sitting on a remote?

No ports have been opened. I have HDMI cec disabled and its not the remote, I've taken the batteries out of it and the menus still pop up. I've just done a software update and that seems to have cured it for now.

Anyone else on the local network have WebIF access so?

I have an app on my fone but its been going on for longer than I've had that installed. I've used my laptop and PC to access the webif but both were switched off earlier when it was happening every few seconds.

Its a strange one!
