Picons on PLI?

I never felt like using picons before but some of the discussions here about it is now making me
want to change my mind. I have read how to install picons on Vix image. How do I install them on
PLI as I switch between these two images.

put them on usb stick, no need to do anything else, pli picks them up, works for me and i have flashed pli many times.
