Issues with mounting shared folder from PC?

Afternoon,

I'm on the ViX 3.0 image and trying to mount a shared folder on the Vuo duo from my PC.

The folder is shared correctly on the PC, triple checked it.

On the Vuo I'm added a new mount pointing to my pc ip 192.168.0.3 to the folder Movies. The mount is successful with a green tick.

Why I don't I get the option for username and password when mounting?

Also when I try to access this share by pressing the button next to 'menu' and going through the relevant options, I see no share no matter what I do. Why?

got it working.

Anyone know how to change the picture size when viewing films from a network share? seems slightly stretched.

Like a dope a55, i didnt realise that i had to select cifs share option to get the username/password option.

But would like to know how i can sort out the picture issue

Aspect ratio problems are a common VU+ issue.
Sometimes it helps to change the ratio and change it back again. The AspectRatio-plugin can be helpful for this.
