I am looking for a new HD receiver preferably with the following specification.
1) Must have a sensitive tuner we live in a fringe area for most of the sats I want and have a big dish in the garden (dont want to go any bigger). Single tuner would be preferable no need for 2 tuners.
2) Best possible picture quality.
3) Be able to input some sealions.
4) Prefer coaxial digital out (Receiver is not close to amp and dont want to buy a new cable if I dont have to)
5) Technology is not a problem had a linux box before so OK with that.
From what I have looked at the vu solo2 is close but has 2 tuners and optical out, and not sure how good the tuners are and would need the extra cost of an optical cable
If I have missed something else I would be grateful for suggestions.
