evening all

ive noticed now that it should be possible to software decode true-hd according to a recent git commit to oe-alliance.

im assuming this is likely to work best on the quad/solo2/duo2, im trying on my quad.

i downloaded a bluray and remuxed both the video (h264 avc) and audio (truehd) into a mkv container. the resulting file fails to play.


has anyone else managed to play truehd?

i need to install gst-ffmpeg but get this error on vix,

ive tried opkg update again and still the same.

i need some of the required files from the apple lossless pack aswell but it fails to install due to missing dependencys:-

thanks for the reply andy.

i assumed as it was software decoding, any box could do it?
ive read its working on dreambox (bit sluggish) and xtrend (ok) using openpli, so i thought it'd be possible for sure with the quads power and hopefully using vix image.
