Although my general OSD is black when I view photos on media (either local HDD or network HDD) both the photos and the black surround are only opaque. So I can see the images coming through the photos and thus washes out the photos and does not treat the images as you may naturally expect.

This is the same whether they are viewed through Recordings or the plugins Picture Player and PictureCenterFS.

Anyone know what setting may fix this, as if there isn't I cannot believe anyone finds this feature useful,

The photo viewer is not something i personally use but if memory serves you should have the option to adjust the settings in the plugin it self via the plugins menu.

I have never experienced that issue, so not sure what causes it.
In the attached screenie you can see the settings I use in PicturePlayer; do you use the same?

Almost the same.... But will try exactly your settings (whether apparently relevant or not) and see if it has an impact.28847

Also disable transparency in userinterface settings.

28849Well this is the screen capture (OSD + Video) from my E2Remote pro app so possibly fixed, but I do not know how honest the mobile app treats the opacity of the video in a screen capture. So will check when I get home, but thanks for your assistance.

These are the User Interface options I see. Not one obviously for transparency. I looked here myself as it seemed most logical place. Am I wrong?2885028851

Well, maybe it's the most logical place, bit transparency is in Menu --> Setup --> System --> User interface --> Position setup --> User interface visibility.

28853Ok. I see it. Should the 220 be 0?
