Hi which image has the best functionality, vix or blackhole, I ain't bothered about the learning curve, for eg does any of them do series record when the epg is set correctly? Thanks.
P.s. which USB dvb2 tuners does the box support?

DVB S2 only one I know of is sundetek and when I used it found it a bit flaky.

As for image imho has to be vixed, its series link etc is integrated.

My advice, install VIX, once set up and everything done, do a settings backup and try BH but you will be back to VIX in no time:) and 5 minute joby to restore settings

Have just ordered the Solo2 with the Vix image, from the forum Sponsor. I'm so excited that if i were a puppy, i would be standing in a puddle right now :smiley_yup: Hoping i got in before the deadline, when they cant ship until the 23rd :eek:

Which is the correct bootloader, cant see one listed for this model.

There is no bootloader update available for the Vu+ Solo2 so you dont need to worry about that.

as for flashing the receiver have a read of these they may come in handy.
