hi my daughters TM single is connected to 46 lg [old] TV through scart as HDMI is not working,the sync is miles out ,any thoughts on what it could be as it is really hard work to watch cheers

Do a settings backup & then a fresh flash of build 739 from http://openvix.co.uk
You can then restore the settings when the box boots up.
