Using vix 738 with quad.
When I go to play either on demand or a stream it has no sound .This has happened before but I can't remember what I did to rectify it.I've tried changing the settings with the audio button but nothing helps.

Check in A/V settings to see I'd digital downmix is set to yes

Hi,
in this case do a complete reboot of the box and normally sound is back there. I have the impression that a restart of E2 breaks sound in streaming. Perhaps using a resource which is already busy.

Reflashed then loaded saved settings sorted sound.

same issue on latest openPli update, also on live tv streams. A complete restart of the box solves the issue, but after a whyle sound disappears again. If I simply restart enigma sound won't come back. Never happened before last image updating. I think it's something connected to latest driver release...

updated today, sound and vision working fine on anything recorded last night.

Drivers always did work OK on recorded stuff, its "other" stuff that has no sound (eg MKV's, AVI's)

That issue appens on latest vix release?

I'm on latest openPLi for now, and I have sometimes all audio falling off, until I reboot receiver, also enigma2 restart won't make it work again...
