View Full Version : [VU+ Duo2] duo2 not loading when 0700 dvb-t drivers installed

Hi all,
this is a continuation of post

basicallt to sum it up, got issues that everytime i install the 0700 dvb-t drivers, when i reboot, vix hangs on the openvix welcome screen, (with large vix spinner spinning in top left hand corner).

I was advised to re-install the 0700 drivers then ftp in to grab the log.

It is attached.

I will now have to go back to installing vix again from USB stick as my system will now go no further.

have the same problem here mate with the 0700 driver for my usb dtt, the only way to restart the vu is disconnect the Dtt and power the box off and on again, but of course then I cant get the DTT installed,

got this sorted by restoring back to build 715 , any updates on from that even the latest 739 the box will hang on reboot while the usb dtt is inserted, definitely is a problem with the new images and 0700 driver, guess I am staying on 715 for another while. K

On build 728 myself but as you say from this build on system hangs. Same time new vu+ drivers for usb DVB-t transcoding was added so obviously an issue since that. I'm in same boat as you using the playtv tuner stuck on an old build indefinitely :(

is it working okay on 728, but then their was also an output problem through scart,(715 to 731) which is a pain when running an rf modulator. this was fixed on build 731, might try 728 myself because their is a skin I want but cant get it with 715. cheers K

And with today's drivers?

Yes works perfect on 728 but last drivers stopped it working build 730+ going too try today's drivers when get back to see if has been resolved

just updated to build 740 and all is well with the world again, Driver issue fixed, scart output is good, thanks a million. K

And the 0700 drivers are not freezing the system on bootup any longer?

I can also confirm these drivers are now working 100% with 740.
No freezing on loadup and the channels tune, no worries!

Do't know who sorted it, but thank you, nice to have the box up working 100% again :)

Drivers are from VU+.
