GB Quad record from Deep Standby?

Hi
I have a new GB Quad and so far very impressed , my only question so far is will the quad record from deep standby ?. I ask because to get the cross epg and auto bouquet to work each morning I have to use the power timers to bring it up to standby and then after updates send it back to deep standby.
