Hi updated with a fresh install yesterday and it appears that the downmix is still not working right (permanently on ) tried with the usual HD channels on 28.2e and they all have the dolby audio selected but output stereo through hdmi

Hi. Yes agreed VIX 734. Have been waiting for a long time to come back to VIX from 4d as the interface is great but as previous post 5.1 cant be activated. Audio AC3/ Digital down mix off. Was ok on latest 4d. I'm not having a go, but a bit dissapointed as I'm sick of flashing/reflashing.

Looks like i will need to go back to 683 for the audio if they still can't fix it in the latest build, thought this was it finally sorted as it wasn't mentioned in the bug reports when it was released or i wouldn't have bothered updating

Try a fresh flash of build 734, looks ok here.

Thanks will try a fresh flash although this was a fresh one from usb, this was after having it freeze after trying to update from the vix menu and downloading it from the menu options, will try downloading it again and trying again with the usb

Now tried with optical and this is working. All not lost.

Confirmed this as a bug with HDMI on my twin here... 734 on the ultimo outputs digital no problem...

Off to look for an old optical cable for now

Any chance of an update on this, can it be solved in the next build or is it wait for an update from TM

Thanks

As phoenix said, I had the issue with tm twin only, not with the ultimo. This was same channel, same image, same settings, same amp, etc. So, this is highly likely down to drivers rather than image...
