red light

Hi all, i,ve got the dreaded red light but my duo does boot up to the vix winter scene but then shuts down again every time,tried hard re-boot but still same, was workink ok before but very erratic previous to this (build 729), will a re-flash sort this do you think or do i need to get the soldering iron out?

It could be a number of things but without more information there is no way we can know whats going on.

Have you tried any other images ?

Sorted!
reflashed to an earlier build (718)and restored settings from back-up and all is working again
think i.ll wait till the next build now

Do you mind me asking where you bought the unit ? as your's does not seem to like the latest drivers.

Thanks, so we at least know it's not a cloned unit, so we can go a little further and try to see whats going wrong.
