View Full Version : HDMI CEC address not being recognised

Hi all,

I've got a brand new Samsung UE40F6400 and trying to set up HDMI CEC. First time I tried it, the address was recognised to 1.0.0.0 and then I rebooted my box and now the address is not being recognised, it shows f.f.f.f. How can I correct this? Ive tried rebooting the box several times, turning off and on Anynet on my tv but with no luck?

Try a different cable

If it works initially it should remain that way. From the sounds of it it worked going in and out of standby? Did it work from deep standby? When you rebooted did you do that via remote/deep standby or hard reset?

In the HDMI CEC menu page there should be a coloured button option to 'clear fixed' (or similar). Press that button and the correct address should show again. I'm not at a box right now so I'm not sure if the option is exactly as I've shown above, but it's something like that.
