View Full Version : Wifi module supplied with Ultimo. Can it be used with the solo!

Hi,

I guess the title says it all. Id like to be able to use the wifi adaptor supplied with the ultimo with my newly acquired solo. Does anyone know if they are compatible?

cant see why it would not be although i dont have a solo to test.

i have exact same issue, but works with image openpli 3.0 on solo,

Im using ViX but it doesn't seem to be recognised. On build 720.

Is there a driver I can download?

The drivers for the VU-dongle are pre-installed in all ViX-images. The dongle needs to be attached on boot up.

Plugged the dongle into a PC and found its an RTL8192 chipset.

Had to load the driver from plugins. Seems to be working fine.

as rob said the Vu+ dongle drivers are pre-installed in the ViX image for all boxes, did you as suggested boot the receiver up with the stick in the box ??.
