Hello,Please can someone advise me i have a vu+duo (genuine)and the fan has just stopped working,i have tested with another from a duo and it is the fan..can anyone recommend where i may get a replacement. Do world of sat sell spares.

contact the sponsor if it's still under warranty, but are you sure the fan has failed ?.

No i did not get this box from him,but i have had 2 and just ordered solo2..yes tested a fan from another box to make sure and worked fine.

you could try the sponsor although i dont know if he stocks spares like fan's.

He may not stock them but may be able to source one, its worth a try to find out either way.

Have done that,many thanks,I get my new solo2 tomorrow from sponser any tips tricks or other you can give me.?

if your familiar with the Duo the solo2 will be dead easy to setup and it's blisteringly fast.

Here is a quick tutorial for flashing the solo2 by USB and another via the image manager.

It is just a fan, just measure the voltage. They are probably 12v around 5omm and you need one no louder than 19 decibels.
