I have received my vu+ solo2 this week with pre installed vix and hard drive
I also purchased a ferguson wifi adapter all from wos
I am struggling to set the wlan up
has anyone got a basic instruction for this
or can you help

Menu > Plugins > Press green to download plugins > Drivers > Install RT5370 drivers.

Done that
Downloaded driver then setup
Got green light from setup but not connecting
Changed wap wap2 etc but not quite there .
Any ideas

Great I am nearly there ,got the green link light but not connected
Tried changing from wpa >wpa2 >etc several times .
Just not connecting
Network test :-
WLAN connected
Wireless. Connected
Dhcp. Enabled
Ip a duress unconfirmed (in info got the address)
Name server unconfirmed
Any ideas

Did you make a complete reboot?
You might also try rebooting your router.

Thanks got it working but very slow on this adapter
Will need a faster WLAN

If you bought the basic cheap one you are not taking full advantage of wireless N as it is only 150mps capable. Look at the more expensive one that operates at 300mps. I am assuming you have a 802.11n capable wireless access point. Note that these throughputs are ratings only and now what you will actually get. That's the joy of wireless though.
