Is the box on wireless or hardwired? also, same for device you are connecting to it from?
Both box and pc on wireless and yes, only one adsl modem to connect
How far away is the box & PC from the wireless modem?
Maybe an idea to use homeplugs if neither can't be hard wired.

Not that either, only 3 meters away. No such problem with other images.
I dont know much about it,in fact nothing, but there is a NFS setup in network menu and when i clicked to see what it is loaded something and now i have no problem. I still dont know what it is
No, not that either:confused:
Error: Disconnected from server: ECONNABORTED - Connection aborted
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing
Probably a faulty backup. Every new backup has increasing volume.
Will try with a virgin image without backup and do everything from start including scanning all satellites.
its something else. all the same with virgin image.
is it a problem with gigablue control center:confused: what else can i use?

98% is insufficient? I would say it's great!
Changed modems encription from WPA WPA2 to WPA: Now FTP is fast and continuous.
Problems complex, solutions simple
Is this a password problem? Vix has a blank password - DCC doesn't like blank passwords. Is this the same with what you are using?
If DCC doesn't like blank passwords, are you sre it's not trying to connect by sftp? a password would need to be set on the box for this.
Why not use a dedicated FTP client? FileZilla is free has never failed me.

its the encription type of wireless network that caused the problem: was using WPA or WPA2 causing too much dialog at every action. WPA2 seems to be more direct.

I am wrong again: its a language barrier.
Default network encription of image is WPA2. My modem was set to WPA or WPA2 and instead of changing that i set box accordingly.
When i set both modem and box to WPA2 problem was solved. Thanks everybody.
what i needed turned out to be a faster dsl modem:D
replaced 54MB/s with 300MB/s and all problems solved: can't follow the speed of transaction
