new to all this and any advice is appreciated
how do i set my vu+solo2 tuners so i can record one channel and watch another.

What Sats do you have access to & do you have 2 feeds available for the box?

yes iv got two feeds
and its 28.2e eutelsat

Set both tuners up as

Single
Simple
28.2E
No

then is it just a case of pressing record and then changing channel will it record onto the internal hd
to play back later

set them up as Sirius says so & you're done.

thanks iv done that and it is fine apart from the fact is is putting the recordings onto my usb stick instead of the internal hd

Whats showing up in Blue button -> ViX -> Mount Manager?

the internal hd shows up in system/hard disk/initialisation as well as the usb

got it sorted thanks , had to initialise the internal hd before i could use it .
