defrag hardrive

Hi, is there a way to defrag my hard drive? I'm using vix.

Linux drives / partitions do not need de-fragmenting.

remove it from the receiver, place in a pc ( possibly use a caddy) and defrag.
i dont think it's possible while in use in the receiver.
