Im hopefully moving to a new build house in a couple of months. So il be looking to get a fixed dish pointed at 28.2 with a quad lnb.

Id have a shotgun cable to living room. And single cable to master bedroom and daughters room.

If you have a sky sub they will come and fit the dish for free, you will have to bung the installer £20.00 for the extra rooms if he agrees to it. You might find that the house you buy already has a dish from previous owners or you could just buy a house that had a dish already lol..

buy a kit and fit it yourself mate, save some ££ its really not that difficult, unless you have a fear of heights lol :)

No fear of heights. What about the alignment. I would also need a big drill

Suppose I can always buy a dish and pay for fitting

I paid for the dish and cables myself then rang round a few Sat/Ariel Installers for quotes. I'm glad I did ring round now as the prices did vary from £40 -£80, as my budget was limited I went for the lowest priced quote. The chap did a great job I was so pleased I gave him an extra £10

If your in glasgow area campbell and kennedy supply and fit for £55 and talk to the installer about extra lines you want for a score in his pocket.

Compare prices of running dual cables to other rooms. If not much more, worthwhile to have dual cables even if not used at the moment.

Yeh makes sense Abu to be future proof. If I get a new receiver id be moving the duo to the bedroom.
