Hey guys just updated from build 715-717 and noticed that my AGC info in the second info bar has gone from 40% to 90% on most channels ?? Weird as it never really goes above 40%

There was a bug with AGC being displayed incorrectly which was fixed with recent drivers.

Build 710 has the latest drivers for the uno, ultimo, solo and duo, build 712 has the latest drivers for the duo2 and solo2.

you can see this by reading the change logs

Ar so I have the latest drivers on build 717 so I take it that the 80-90% AGC showing now is the true AGC not 40% like It has always been?

you will never get a true reading via the receiver as it's not calibrated for that, consider it a best guess.

And besides: AGC is hardly relevant for anything at all. Picking up your neighbour's microwave or whatever what kind of noise will largely set this value.
Use SNR (also a not calibrated value) for dish-alignment or so.
