External Network Mount

Hello

I've been wondering if it's possible to mount an external network location. i.e a folder on a friends computer? If so, it would be possible to stream movies etc between each other, providing there's enough bandwidth, etc..

create a VPN connection between your Router Athen it is as simple as two box es in the same room.
